For this unit of study, you are to write an editorial.  The editorial is a form of argument outside of the essay format.  By writing an editorial, you get an opportunity to experience argumentative writing in a “real world” scenario and by posting it for others to read, you get the opportunity to share your writing with many readers.

Once others have posted their editorial, read through some of the editorials .  Select one to work with for the next assignment which is to write a rebuttal. When you post your rebuttal, you will post it immediately below the original editorial by clicking on COMMENT/REPLY.  

Make sure to post your rebuttal the same way you posted your editorial.  Remove the MLA formatting in the upper left hand corner and start the post with the title of your rebuttal, followed by “by your name“
